Ticketed Scaffolder - Hervey Bay  

Our client based in Hervey Bay is seeking an experienced intermediate to advanced Ticketed Scaffolder with a good working knowledge of the industry for an immediate start. The successful applicant must be reliable, self motivated, possess a strong work ethic with a proven track record and have high safety standards.

 

A supportive work environment and the opportunity to develop and grow with the company is on offer.  It is essential that you hold a current construction industry blue/white card, scaffolding tickets, forklift licence and driver’s licence as well as own reliable transport.  An MR truck licence would be advantageous. You must have good written and verbal communication skills as you will be dealing with a range of customers, both internal and external, and written reporting will also be required.  Good numerical and problem solving skills will assist you in your daily duties.

Building Officer - Gladstone

As an experienced Building Officer you will have a trade, preferably construction background with knowledge of the industry and the legislation surrounding it.  Tertiary qualifications or further education in Building Surveying or accreditation as a Building Surveyor issued by the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors, at a minimum level of Building Surveying Technician is required along with the ability to gain the necessary license required by the Queensland Building Services Authority for the level of accreditation held.  Strong administration and customer service skills will also be required as duties will include processing applications associated with building works, assessments and providing guidance and advice to residents, developers and other interested stakeholders.

You will have an eye for detail and take pride in your work, ensuring a high quality standard is met at all times.  Focusing on policies, guidelines and best practice, your knowledge of these and the building industry will assist you in your daily tasks and relations with both internal and external customers.

You will be driven, motivated and receive great satisfaction from assisting others and seeing a project completed.  Excellent presentation and communication skills are required as you will be dealing with the public and be the face of the organisation.  The successful applicant will have ability to work unsupervised but to also contribute to team.  Confidentiality and anti-discrimination will be an integral part of this role.

 Our client - a leading supplier, manufacturer & designer of plant and components for the World Sugar Industry - requires an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join their team. You will be experienced with Fanuc &/or Mazatrol controller systems, good with your hands and have an eye for detail taking pride in your work to produce a quality finished product. Duties include the manufacturing of components for the sugar industry. Our client is currently seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic in a service and repair position. In this role you will be required to assemble, install, service and repair commercial and domestic refrigeration and air conditioning systems in shops, factories, office buildings and hospitals. The Successful applicant must be able to read and follow plans, work in a team or on your own and must have commercial experience. As you will mostly work autonomously, you will need to have a great diagnostic ability, be able to work under pressure and work to deadlines.  You must be trade qualified, a holder of a current Queensland Drivers License and a Current Blue Card (Construction Industry).
